Designers will usually charge an hourly rate or a flat fee with limited updates.
Set-Up Fee for Print
When submitting jobs for print there is often a one time standard set-up fee. Sometimes set-up fees are recurring.
Some customers want a particular image to be re-sized so they can use the image for different on-line profile accounts. Graphic design fees are usually charged by the hour for these types of projects.
These are just a few examples but as you see it takes time, experience and skill to produce quality designs and print ready products.
